The story behind: White heart emoji 

My collections arise from a feeling, often something personal that I want to share with the outside world. The “white heart emoji” collection also originated from a personal feeling. The inspiration for this collection came one early morning when I became aware of my emotions during hypnopompia, the phase between being asleep to being awake. An everyday moment that suddenly gained a deeper meaning. I felt vulnerable, completely myself, content, pure, and untouched by the outside world. Unfortunately, this unique feeling dissipated as soon as I grabbed my phone and was confronted with the daily reality.

Driven by the desire for authenticity, with this collection, I want to convey and share the feeling I experienced with others. An ode to men for whom the chaos of daily life becomes overwhelming and who long for a beacon of calm. Something I experienced in the moment of hypnopompia. The collection features traditional garments crafted from high-end materials like: lambskin, mohair, wool, silk and fur. Symbolizing purity in various shades of white. This collection invites wearers to carry a piece of that serene moment with them throughout the day, encouraging reflection and embracing pure emotions.
