My name is Maarten Olivier Heeg, a 26-year-old creative with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. Focused on modern menswear, with a minor in knitwear and a specialization in collection development. My expertise lies in translating creative concepts into technical designs, understanding fabric behavior, and working with diverse knitting techniques. I am highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and have a strong eye for trends, materials, and garment construction.

 

During my study I challenged myself to work in different aesthetics with a variety of materials to gain knowledge and experience. My internship at Ronald Van Der Kemp which is couture and womenswear, contributed to this in every way possible.

Here I focused on sampling and material development for the final garments of wardrobe 17.

 

I believe due the variety of directions I’ve taken I can easily adjust my design approach within the aesthetic that is expected. With a proactive, "can-do" attitude, I thrive in high-pressure environments and adapt easily to change.

 

My expertise ranges from knitwear and design to sewing, branding, and proficiency in Adobe programs.
